Ah save scumming.
It sounds just a little pirate-ish and at its heart, it probably is. By definition, it’s the art of reloading a save of a game allowing you to repeat an action until it works in your favour when things didn’t work out the first time.
It’s taken 83 episodes but it’s actually happened. You’ll find out.
This week, as our adventures in France and South Africa continue, we wrestle with managerial support at Orlando Pirates, goals defying the laws of physics, the French transfer window and more as we close out August and move into September.
Mathematically, we’ve worked out that this is likely the last of the show saves until FM23 surfaces so we’ve got a lot to fit in between here and what’s likely an early November release.
We’ll also take a quick look at what’s been happening in our solo saves as they start to gather a bit of steam – Shane being the Master of the Multiverse as he splits personalities to tackle Man Utd and Preston in the one instance, while Ken’s gone back to Hibs in a forked version of our network save.
