It’s been a slow start to proceedings in Germany but we’ve managed to get pre-season all wrapped up and get stuck into the league proper with Eintracht Frankfurt, Augsburg and Koln all in action.
This week sees us talk out the last of our pre-season games, check off our first competitive fixtures with the opening round of the DFB-Pokal and we’re officially kicking off life in the Bundesliga with a rude awakening from the defending champions, Bayern Munich.
We’ve got the last of our transfer business before the transfer window actually shuts, we’ve got some more gripes about the current Man United squad under Erik ten Hag and we might even have ourselves a casualty. Red cards and spurned opportunities are talking points this week but as that glorious single released by D:Ream in 1994 went, things can only get better. Right?
