When we started this podcast, we didn’t have much of a plan past episode one, never mind getting to episode 100.
There were markers along the way – getting out of single-digit episodes from our stay in Argentina, crossing from FM21 into FM22 and on to FM23. We’ve had downloads in over 100 countries, enjoyed meeting new people, FM content creators, football fans and more over the past 100 episodes. So this week, rather than discuss the games of the moment, we’re going for a slightly unexpected review show with Robbie steering some of the questioning.
We’ll get back to matters Portugal in the new year (next week) but for now, we’re going for a look back at life in Argentina, England (twice), Spain, Turkey, Italy, Scotland and the rest as we try to make sense – on the fly – of the past 100 episodes and 2 years worth of content.
From two lads playing through Football Manager in a Covid-restricted world in 2021 to bagging regular studio time and a small but growing audience (as well as adding a third player), we’ve been having a whale of a time and have managed to keep a few hours a week aside to spend on a game we’ve loved since day one.

And whether you’ve been there since episode one or you’re just tuning in on episode 100, thanks so much for the loan of your ears. We hope you enjoy the content and will continue to enjoy the content. Here’s to making 2023 a fun year on the Football Manager front!
